So I went to Lake Hartwell, Georgia to sail in the 2013 Spring Fever regatta with Katie Flood and we had a blast!

It is a great experience to sail with so many multihulls from around the country in one venue. The opportunity to meet everyone, talk about plans for the spring and summer and get out on the water for some fun racing! It would be awesome to have an event like this every quarter so at a minimum we could get together in large numbers and show everyone what we are all about!

The 2013 Spring Fever Regatta racing was typical for Georgia.  Light air the first two days and a system came through and brought a little bit of breeze on the third day of racing.  Katie and I sailed well, we communicated and were able to have some decent racing throughout (as long as you don’t consider the first two races in which we got 6’s).  We finished the regatta in second behind the locals, so we are both thrilled with the performance!

This is my video update and there is more to come.  This weekend I am off to Long Beach , California for CISA (Wicked excited for that) and then to Sarasota.  Check out my posts over the next few days for more information on what is upcoming!

I am aggressively raising funds for my campaign.  If you know of any company that wants to help me win Youth Champs and then on to Youth Worlds, please ask them to call me! It means a lot.
